Cu Chi Irrigation System

Abstract

In almost all Asia countries, the development and management of the irrigation system has been the major item of expenditure in the irrigation budget. In Vietnam today, and in many Asian countries in the 1970s and 80s, irrigation and flood control for more than half of the agricultural budget. Most of the funds have been for capital expenditure with operation and maintenance being ten percent or less.
