Before joining the FSPPM, Dr. Vo Thanh Lam was the Director General of the Department of the Inspectorate at the Ministry of Information & Communications (MIC). Before that, he was the Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs, also at the MIC. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Law from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
In addition to professional work in the public sector for around 25 years, Dr. Vo Thanh Lam has for many years been actively involved in academic work as a guest lecturer and Master thesis supervisor for various universities in Hanoi, including the Hanoi Open University, the Vietnam National University Hanoi, and the Technological Institute of Posts and Telecommunications. Prior to joining the FSPPM, he had been a guest lecturer for MPP students on numerous occasions.
