On 19th September 2019, Ministry of Planning and Investment organized Vietnam Reform and Development Forum (VRDF) 2019, focusing on two main themes, namely institutional reform for market economy and harnessing innovation to overcome middle income trap.
Dr. Vu Thanh Tu Anh, Dean of Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, moderated the first panel session titled "Towards modern and integrated market economic institutions". Panelists include renowned international and domestic experts, to name a few, Dr. David Dollar, Senior Researcher of Brookings Institute, U.S.; Dr. Cao Viet Sinh, Former Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment; Alwaleed Alatabani, Lead Financial Sector Specialist, World Bank in Vietnam; Dr. Nguyen Si Dung, Former Deputy Head of Parliament Office; and Dr. Jonathan Pincus, President of Rajawali Foundation.
