Ambassador David H. Thorne, Senior Advisor to U.S. Secretary of State met and discussed with Fulbright YSEALI Summer School participants and FETP faculty

On Aug 6, 2015 AM Fulbright Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Summer School participants and FETP faculty met and discussed with Ambassador David Thorne, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State, accompanied by Ms. Rena Bitter, U.S. Consul General to Ho Chi Minh City and Mr. Nathan Lane, US Consulate General Economic Chief. Ambassador Thorne and other officers had a dialogue with FETP faculty about the project of Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) construction and a candid discussion with YSEALI participants on negotiation rounds of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) as well as Vietnamese economic relations with ASEAN countries and the world.
