Training skills to develop education policies for elected officials

On 19-20 September 2018, Dr. Tran Thi Que Giang, Lecturer at Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, Fulbright University Vietnam, attended workshop "Training skills to develop education policies for elected officials" in Nghe An, Vietnam.

The workshop aims to equip elected officials with capabilites in education policies to develop (amended) Education Law and (amended) Law on Higher Education. At the workshop, Dr. Que Giang spoke in the training module "Analyzing and Developing Policies on Educational Resources". The presentation focuses on analyzing fundamental attributes of education, some misunderstandings about education in Vietnam, U.S. experiences in education and the role of government in developing legal framework and development policies for education.
