World Bank research team has had a discussion session with FETP faculty and interested stakeholders for the Vietnam consultation of the World Development Report (WDR) 2017: "Governance and the Law" at FETP on June 22, 2016. WDR 2017 is World Bank's analytical flagship report on governance and its implications for policy intervention to raise sustainable welfare and effectiveness. The report highlights responses to two questions: (i) how can pro-welfare policies be made and achieved effectively in a certain governance setting? and (ii) how can a governance setting be improved? The draft report is presented Ms. Yongmei Zhou, WDR Co-Director, Mr. Marco Larizza and Ms. Deborah Isser.
