On 20/4/2012, University of Economics HCMC's (UEH) Rector signed the decision to establish the Institute of Public Policy (IPP-UEH) and appointed Dr. Dinh Cong Khai to be the Institute's Director. Dr. Khai is UEH Representative at the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program and a full-time faculty at FETP.
Complementary to FETP's two-year master's program in public policy, IPP designs and organizes executive education program in public policy to help strengthen policy making and implementation capacity for governmental officials in Southern provinces of Vietnam. IPP also carries out applied research as a way to provide consultation in socioeconomic policies at local levels.
IPP's research and education activities are done in cooperation with FETP and UEH's resources. FETP experts will involve in IPP's research and education activities.
