The August 3-14, 2015 Fulbright YSEALI Summer School sponsored by the U.S. Mission to Vietnam and organized by the Institute of Public Policy (University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City) and the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program (FETP) was kickstarted this morning at FETP.
The Summer School consists of two one-week rounds, each of which is composed of 80 students who are from 18 to 25, fluent in English, potential in strong leadership qualities at his or her school or office and passionate about voluntary work and community services. Students will be learning and discussing such topics as opportunities and challenges of Vietnam for its integration into the region and the world in a globalization context; leadership and integration; soft skills for negotiation and debate; and participating in the two field trips to Nike and Intel Vietnam at Saigon High-Tech Park.
