We are delighted to inform you that the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program is working with the Fulbright Program at the United States Embassy in Hanoi to incorporate graduates of the FETP’s flagship program (the one-year program in applied economics and public policy, offered from 1995 to 2007, and the Master in Public Policy, offered since 2008) into the larger community of USG-funded exchange alumni. This process confirms your membership in the worldwide State alumni community. Now is a particularly appropriate time to effect this change, as we approach the 20th anniversaries of both the founding of the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program and the resumption of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the United States. As a part of this process, over the next several months we will be updating our database of alumni contact information and incorporating this information into the larger database of Fulbright alumni. In keeping with our long-standing commitment to protecting your privacy, you will be given the opportunity to determine which information you wish to include in the database.
