Dr. Nguyen Huu Lam is the director of Center for Excellence in Management Development, University of Economic – Ho Chi Minh City. Lam holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University, USA, an MBA in International Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand, and a BA in Economics from the University of Economics – Ho Chi Minh City.
Lam teaching and research interests focus on Creative Thinking Abilities, Management Change and Development, Leadership Development, Professional Development, Competency-Based Education and Training, and International Human Resource Development. Lam has been working on improving capabilities for companies, organizations as well as people through consulting in organizational development, soft skills training, management and leadership development. Lam has also been working hard on improving learning and teaching quality in the universities in Viet Nam through curriculum development and developing teaching capabilities for university teachers.
