ANNOUNCEMENT

RECRUITMENT OF MENTORS FOR THE 2017 FULBRIGHT UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (FUV) YOUNG SOUTHEAST ASIAN LEADERS INITIATIVE (YSEALI) SUMMER SCHOOL

The Fulbright University Vietnam (FUV) seeks candidates for mentorship of the 2017 FUV YSEALI Summer School which will be jointly organized by FUV and the U.S. Mission to Vietnam from July 23 -28, 2017, at the Fulbright Economics Teaching Program (FETP) campus.

The 2017 FUV YSEALI Summer School will feature Entrepreneurship and Innovation as the main theme of this year. Please refer to the Official Announcement for further details about the program.

Candidate qualifications:

  • Be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English;
  • Be experienced in teamwork facilitation;
  • Be able to commit time and work as part-time online consultant to your assigned group from June 1 to July 20 (3 hours/week), and a full-time from the evening of July 23 to 28, 2017.
  • Understanding or having knowledge of Entrepreneurship and Start-up is an advantage.

Mentorship Requirements:

  • Mentoring a team of 6 young leaders (there will be 10 groups in the program) who will be assigned to do teamwork on innovation or entrepreneurship in their choice of sector/area.
  • Working through Skype with the team from June 1 to July 20, an average of 3 hours per week is expected.
  • Directly working with the team on the last week of July, starting from evening of July 23 to end of 28, 2017.

Selected mentors will be paid working allowance and granted a Certificate of FUV YSEALI Mentorship upon the program completion.
