Abstract

This presentation examines the results of a random assignment experiment that tests the effects of government performance on trust. The information we provide is about school district efficiency. We use this to see if actual information on performance affects reported measures of trust, as well as on efficiency, support for taxes to support spending, and desired levels of school spending.
