Abstract
Vietnam is a rapidly developing country with a growing population and economy. This has led to increased urbanization and car ownership, which in turn has exacerbated traffic congestion and air pollution. Facing these challenges, the Vietnamese Government has committed to achieving Net-zero emissions by 2050, and electric vehicles (EVs) are seen as a key part of this strategy.
Contributing to the realization of this goal, Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management is undertaking a research project on the development policy for zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) in Viet Nam. The research aims to present the best international practices in the ZEV development, concurrently assessing the suitability and feasibility of these practices within the specific economic, social, and urban context of Vietnam.
Join us in the Workshop of Policy for Zero-Emission Vehicles: International Experiences for Vietnam to share and discuss the initial research findings, learn from international best practices, and explore essential prerequisites when formulating the policy for Viet Nam.
