COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course focuses on opportunities and risks which are discussed over 04 specific topics as follows:
- Scenarios, developments and medium-term outlook of real estate market from now until 2030
- Shifts in market structures: Comparative perspectives against comparable markets
- Macroeconomic context and financial structures for real estate development
- Vietnam Land Law 2023: The impact of new legal frameworks on real estate market
Course schedule:
The course will take place over 2.5 days of in-person classes, combining lectures, case studies, discussions and group works. Details are as follows:
- Day 1: Welcome learners. Introduction about the role of real estate sector in the economy; trends and scenarios of real estate markets in the medium term.
- Day 2: Update macroeconomic conditions and their impact on real estate sector; Financing models; Sharing international experiences and case studies.
- Day 3: Managing legal risks; Important changes and adjustments affecting real estate sector and legislation expected to be approved; learners’ presentations.
Mode of instruction: In person
Language of instruction: Vietnamese (simulatneous interpretation available for sessions with foreign faculty)
Upon course completion, learners who participate the course diligently and complete all learning modules are granted Course Certificate by Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, Fulbright University Vietnam.
Prospective candidates:
Market participants under the role of financing banks, investment managers, project developers, individual investors, service providers for real estate sector (market research, legal and financial consultants).
Number of participants: 30 learners/course
Tuition fees: 30.000.000 VND/learner
Participants are eligible for special offers if they:
- Register before 31/3/2023 or referred to the program by Fulbright alumni: 10% discount of tuition fees
- Register in group of 3 or more or are current students/alumni of MPP program: 20% discount of tuition fees
