From analysis to dialogue: Collections of public policy analysis works

The book is a research collection of graduates from classes of Master in Public Policy at FETP from 2008-2014, comprising of three major sections: 1. Development Policies, 2. Economics of Public Sector, and 3. Macroeconomics and Development Finance.

Part I focuses on evidence-based development policies concerning economic growth, poverty reduction and inequality. National or sectorial development policies for economic growth are analyzed and compared with Eastern and Southeastern countries’ experiences.

Part II examines economic topics in public sectors. Articles analyze the role and scale of public sector in economies, public capital mobilization and public spending policies.

Part III investigates macroeconomics and development finance. Vietnamese economic instability and global economic crisis during the period of 2008-2011 are comprehensively discussed with emphasis placed on fiscal and monetary policies to stabilize short-term macroeconomics in Vietnam.
